Christian Sano

Chris has more than 30 years of experience across global capital markets, having held senior institutional sales and leadership positions at firms which include Nomura, CLSA Securities and CIMB Securities. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive international network and developed strong reputation for combining deep market knowledge with a highly relationship-focused approach to client engagement.

Having spend much of his career working closely with institutional investors and investment banks across Europe and Asia, Chris honed his skillset running an investment strategy focussing on global IPOs and new bond issues with a focus in Asia and Europe.

His broad cross-broader experience, together with his longstanding institutional relationships, has allowed him to provide valuable market insights and strategic perspective to clients and investors alike.

Mike Bowie

Mike has over 20 years’ experience in financial services. Having held the title of partner at his previous firm, he built deep expertise in portfolio construction and client advisory work and enjoys brining best in-class products to his clients across the UK.

Mike recognises and advocates a genuinely bespoke and independent approach to wealth management. His clients value a service that is free from any in-house agenda. With a client base that includes former City executives, entrepreneurs and successful business owners, Mike understands how their requirements extend beyond traditional wealth management.

Mike provides thoughtful guidance not only on investments but also across wider financial considerations. He believes fostering an enduring partnership is grounded in transparency, consistency and long-term value.

‘Placing a strong emphasis on clear communication and discipline decision-making, helps clients remain confident and well-positioned through all market cycles’ he says. What sets him apart is his ability to blend institutional discipline with a more intuitive, client-led understanding of risk and opportunity. He is comfortable challenging assumptions where necessary and often encourages clients to think beyond conventional benchmarks.

Outside of work, Mike is a keen squash player and participated in winning the national over 35 team squash championships some years ago.

Nicholas Irons

Nick possesses over 20 years in the wealth management industry and was previously a partner at a boutique investment management firm. Nick looks after clients on both a discretionary and advisory basis across the UK and Europe. His measured, affable manner keeps clients’ emotions and financial affairs on an even keel.

He has built his sizable and varied client base through referrals from existing clients with diverse backgrounds, ranging from entrepreneurs across many sectors, business owners, and financial professionals. While ‘no two clients are the same’, most of his clients are looking to preserve wealth as well as grow in real terms.

Ox Global’s commitment to the long term marks the firm out, he says, adding that rather than ‘predicting the regular twist and turns’ in the market, it builds portfolios to cope with uncertainty, preserve wealth and to deliver inflation-beating real returns. He says, ‘asset allocation is key in everything you do when it comes to wealth management’, particularly in times of market turbulence.

The firm’s independence, Irons says, ‘allows advisors to view the investment horizon without any conflict of interest’. He was previously a partner at Union Investment Management where he was a senior key client advisor.

Outside of work, Nick spends much of his time helping his three children with their sporting ambitions and has a passion for the arts.

Yusuf Mohmmed

Yusuf brings over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He holds Chartered Status with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI), reflecting his commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Throughout his career, Yusuf has established a strong reputation within the industry. He has been featured as a front cover star in Citywire magazine and has been referenced in City A.M. and other leading financial publications.

Yusuf began his career at J.P. Morgan Cazenove before progressing to become Head of Advisory Stockbroking at a UK-based investment management firm. In this role, he led a team of advisers while overseeing client relationships nationwide. He specialises in the advisory management of private client, pension, and corporate portfolios, delivering tailored strategies aligned with clients’ long-term objectives.

Yusuf has built a substantial and dynamic client base, driven largely by referrals and long-standing professional relationships. His clients include HNW and UHNW individuals, senior executives, FTSE 100 CEOs, and professional introducers spanning diverse sectors.

As an independent firm, Yusuf believes Ox Global provides impartial, conflict-free advice without fund provider bias, adopting a proactive investment approach designed entirely around each client’s objectives.

Outside of work, Yusuf is a dedicated family man. He has spent more than 15 years coaching football at youth level and is actively involved in charitable initiatives both in the UK and internationally.

James Cook

James began his career within the Foreign Exchange industry before joining Ox Global Investments in 2023 as an Associate. He is responsible for advising on and managing client portfolios as well as overseeing the new business desk – playing a key role in the continued growth of the company. His approach combines strong commercial awareness with a desire to bring best in-class investments to his client base, reflecting both his market background and commitment to long-term client relationships.

He believes that proactive wealth management lies in combining institutional-quality investment solutions with the agility and relationship-led service of a boutique firm, something that he finds many wealth managers struggle to offer.

Rather than applying a one size fits all approach, he focuses on building long-term strategies that can adapt to changing markets and evolving priorities. This deeper perspective allows him to shape advice that feels relevant, rather than formulaic. He believes that trust is built on clarity and a strong sense of alignment from the onset and bears this in mind when building portfolios for clients.

Outside of his professional commitments, James is dedicated to maintaining an active lifestyle. A frequent participant at the gym, he also enjoys spending his time pursuing a range of sporting interests including golf and padel.

Archie Attfield

Archie joined Ox Global Investments as an Associate in July 2025. In his role, he is responsible for engaging prospective clients and introducing them to the firm’s investment philosophy, as well as supporting the management of client relationships and the production of client materials. He is currently studying towards the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.

He enjoys the comprehensive nature of wealth management, particularly the wider economic mechanisms that influence strategy and financial markets. Equally, he has a strong interest in people’s individual journeys and values the opportunity to help clients navigate the financial component of their lives and achieve their long-term goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Archie completed an internship at Guinness Global Investors as an Equity Analyst, focusing on European and Emerging Market equities. He graduated with a first-class degree in Medical Engineering from University of Leeds in 2024, which included a 12-month professional placement at GE Aerospace.

Beyond professional life, Archie spends much of his free time playing sport. He also has a keen interest in food and wine, having completed the WSET Level 2 Award in wines at the end of 2025 and a ski season as a chalet host prior to university.

Ben Wildblood

Ben launched his career in finance through a day trading internship in the Foreign Exchange Industry, before joining Ox Global Investments in 2025 as an Associate. In his role, Ben is responsible for the acquisition of new business, acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients. He works closely with the partners to manage these relationships and assist in the creation of client proposals, whilst collaborating with the business development team to help differentiate Ox Global Investment’s proposition. Ben is currently studying towards his CISI level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.

Ben was drawn to the role by Ox Global’s ability to offer clients best-in-class funds. The world is full of exciting investment opportunities, and he thinks it would be a shame not to pursue them. His attraction to the industry lies in its multifaceted nature – particularly the need for a holistic understanding of global markets, economics, and human behaviour. The complexity that drives global markets is fascinating, and Ben enjoys applying this understanding to identify value.

Outside the office, Ben spends his times competing in numerous sports such as football and cricket. Whilst also being a keen golfer, he enjoys spending his winter guiding in the Alps.
